Life Cycle Engineering (LCE)
LCE is a privately held business headquartered in Charleston, S.C. with offices in Washington, D.C., Norfolk, Va., Philadelphia, Pa., Pittsburgh, Pa., San Diego, CA., and Mayport, Fl. LCE supports various program initiatives to reduce workload, maintenance, manning and overall life cycle costs of naval ships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in areas that include electrical and mechanical engineering, systems engineering, logistics and software development. LCE has broad experience supporting Government customers with program management, configuration management, database maintenance, budget and schedule management, performance monitoring, ship modernization, and machinery development and testing programs. LCE has supported multiple Navy customers including NAVSEA, SPAWAR, and NAVSSES.

Alion is an employee-owned technology solutions company delivering technical expertise and operational support to the Department of Defense, civilian government agencies and commercial customers, with a 70-year history of R&D and engineering experience. Core Alion capabilities and areas of expertise are naval architecture & marine engineering, defense operations, systems engineering, modeling & simulation, information management & technology, chemical, biological, nuclear and environmental sciences, wireless spectrum engineering, and industrial technology. Alion also manages and operates several DoD “Information Analysis Centers” (IACs) providing subject matter expertise and technical support on modeling and simulation; manufacturing; reliability; weapons systems; and advanced materials and processes.
